Broncos half Adam Reynolds has taken a cheeky swipe at a journalist over his new deal with the club.
Reynolds led the Broncos to a epic 16-point comeback against the Sharks, setting up the try that put Brisbane ahead late.
It capped a great week for the Broncos skipper, who just a few days ago, put pen to paper on a new one-year extension with the club.

Speaking to reporters following the win, Reynolds was asked about the new deal by a journalist.
“I was confident of sorting it in the background. It wasn’t a distraction but glad it’s sorted now and we can stop talking about it and focus on footy,” Reynolds said.
The halfback then said to the journalist: “It was mainly you that was asking the questions”, which elicited plenty of laughter from the press gallery.
Not for the first time this season, the Broncos were poor starters, with their fans thinking they’ve seen this movie before.

“When we stick to the plan, we are a good footy side. When we don’t, we’re pretty ordinary,” Reynolds added.
“There’s other ways I’d like to win but we’ll get confidence out of that in when we are down, we know we can fight back.”
