Captain Adam Reynolds was named in the extended squad as he nears his return from the hamstring injury he picked up in Round 23 against Melbourne, but went down with injury again at training.

Reynolds suffered the injury on the same play as his halves partner Ezra Mam, who also went down with a hamstring injury, while Selwyn Cobbo suffered a hamstring injury of his own later in the same game.
