The final teams for Game 1 of the State of Origin series will be finalised an hour before kick-off at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Blues have been sweating on injuries to stars Stephen Crichton and Payne Haas, with both to be given until the last minute to be officially passed fit.
There has also been speculation the Maroons could make a late change in their forward pack.
